HalFRAUDS.....

I have a nice letter from Halfords saying my MG was due its MOT. Have they not learnt anything? My last encounter resulted in nearly £300 compensation from them the stupid idiots!

Paint mixing is a fine art, go to the proper spray places.

When i last got 'matched paint' from them I just got a letter saying 'tough you should have checked it against real colour...' When they mixed both cans that wasn't really possible. Will never use them for paint ever again. They have terrible customer service on everything except their professional tool range (and then it's only because there are no loopholes for them to find in their lifetime guarantee!).

COF seems to be a problem with paint matching! Halfords rattle cans are nothing like the same color, my local parts shop list two red COFs and I have to specify COF 96! :bang:

Still the best color out there :yesnod: (PS I may be slightly biased)

I had same issue with Mini Flame Red. There were two variants and when on a J Reg it was hit and miss which variant was used. Oh and they both used the same paint code!

I can recommend the guys from Motorcolour.

Used them for several cars so far, no issues.

Of course your local paint shop may match the colour better for older cars with faded paint...
as ever,

Yep off to a local paint shop phoned then and they asked for a sample of the colour so that they can mix it to match
