OK, I give up, how on earth can you login from an iPad? I'm having a pig of a time with the AJAX login, and I can't remember the default login URL for joomla

AJAX forces a page reload every time I tap the username field... so I never get the chance to actually type anything.

I assume you use Safari as browser?
It may make a difference if you put "www." before the URL. So try "www.the-t-bar.com" instead "the-t-bar.com".
Solved the same issue for me.

it's dolphin browser I use, and no joy with adding the W's on there, but it does work for safari... Thanks!!
