Hi guys just bought a bosch silver battery for my F as the last one seemed dead so put on my nice new pricey battery expecting to start easy but oh no still it struggles to turn over also when i turned on the ignition my blower worked but when the car started it stopped agian please can someone HELP (also the blower seems to work when it feels like changed the little coils)

Check the terminal connections, similar problem I had on another car! undo and make sure there is no crud on the clamp ( clean with emery cloth then re-attach).

Also worth checking all the earthing points for corrosion. Where the leads attach to the car body.
It could also be a dodgy starter motor or its connections.

Yes as David says earth points WILL need cleaning on an F

Thanx guys changed the earth strap from the battery to the inner wing & all is good a quick sandpaper rub at the wing connection point then covered battery terminals & wing connection with vasaline to protect ,still got the problem with my blower only working when it feels like though!!!!
