Hi my mgtf has only one key fob programmed to the car but I do have a new uncut key and a new un programmed round key fob,what is the best way to sort this,don't like just havin one key and fob
I liven Cumbria,so some one local would be good,but can post.
Can I buy a code reader or something

You can get a duplicate key cut at most locksmiths using their blanks, or buy an MG blank (part No. CWE100580) and get this copied from your key. You buy a blank fob early or late and have it programmed. Russell supplied and programmed a fob for my Mk1 F for £40 (slightly more than buying a blank one) The later Pektron fobs you need your original barcode to programme the new one. David will confirm this
