Sorry if it sounded like a put down John, I didn't mean it to, just pointing out that Billing is already a venue of choice, so that could be a recommendation or a reason to choose somewhere else, depending on how people felt

Billing has a Travelodge/Premier Inn (can't remember which) right on the doorstep, easily within 5 mins walking distance of the main camping areas. There's also a pub or 2 within walking distance who did decent enough meals

I have to agree billing is a great place to meet, camped there loads of times at the land rover show they have there

Am trying to organise a day of meeting up on April 7 and going to Donington Park to watch classic MG racing. With a meal after. Potentially a great get together. In the middle of the country at a classic venue.

Result: 2 definites, plus J & S. We'll be there. Looking forward to meeting others.

Thinking about it, the Dragon Lady will be at MG Live with her acolytes.
So fcuk that an all.
But at least the LE 500 draw will take place. Probably. Because he promised.
