Never had any service records when I bought my 160, even a sae to the one and only lady owner didnt bring forth any information.

So after Bens show of faith, I have contacted Russell and will be arranging a date for a full service and belts change. Good price, including the travelling down to Bournemouth.

I did do a oil and filter change when I first bought it and gave it some semi synthetic oil.

Least I wont have to keep crossing my fingers when I get up into the higher rev bands, to get the VVC working as it should.

You will be well looked after by Russell, he provides an excellent service but you must keep him supplied with coffee (instant not real) and bacon sarnies. he charged a customer extra last week because of no coffee, not even an offer and wont be going back to that one. He does an excellent job, in all weathers at an excellent price and it is a pleasure to watch him work. You do know that you have also got MJS in Eastbourne too, Mike Stafford is also good and he and Russell dont clash.

Did consider the other guys, but Ben swung it for me, have heard of other good recommendations as well.

Already said we will have the coffee pot on, forgot about the Bacon sarnies, but with a 7 year old grand son that wants one soon as he walks through the door always have plenty.

I feel like I'm playing Russian Roulette, not know any history and must admit I do like the sound and the power.

Entirely different from the ZS Dervs delivery.

Mike is now based in Goring, Worthing.
Sterling are MG specialists in Eastbourne though.

Ive used Mike a LOT in the last 6 months and will vouch for him entirely.
Although on the 21st of this month Im getting the Russell treatment as Mike doesnt have a T4 machine yet.

AND Russell knows his stuff on the T4 Testbook, he did the intensive Rover four day course before they went "pop" and because of weather conditions at the time, he was the only one who turned up, so got one to one tuition. It is an essential tool for setting up the F & TF
