Heated seat kit 11 years 2 months ago #103067

Invalid or non-existent item ID.Invalid or non-existent item ID.Adam (Whiz) was asking which kit I fitted to my challenge truck the other day

This is a very similar kit Adam... You do get what you pay for!!

My challenge truck kit was fitted 7 years ago and still working.. on the highest setting you cant sit in the seat.. heat up is uber quick..

My original kit was Waeco so will be getting the kit in the link for my seats.. seat needs stripping to fit.. but as mine are being re-trimmed thats even easier..

I have the same as David and found them nothing but superb. I opted for the simple low/off/high switches they come with, as the upgrade 'variable' controls are rectangular and in my opinion will look more awkward when fitted.

Yes I concur about the retangular switches.. so will ditch those and fit something smaller :broon:

Im going for the more expensive kit as the heat output is doubled..

I have the 60's in another car and they work perfectly.. but compared to the 200 kit there is a noticable difference in output

I've no doubt that the dearer ones are faster to heat up, more adjustable in output, and can be cut to the shape of the seat, and keep your back and bum nice and warm.

The cheaper ones keep your back and bum warm, and you save £70.

As a cheapskate, the choice was obvious.

I've fitted the same ones as David, and they stop my other half complaining about the cold, which is amazing!
