Oh, and if there is anyone I haven't offended at some time, I appologise. I never intentionally leave anyone out. ;)

Haha.. It's always hard work trying to offend a breed of people who invented such imaginative terms as 'budgie smugglers'.

Honestly doesn't bother me what anyone thinks of my car, or my scooters, or my haircut, or my clothes...... as they're all personal to me, and my choice. What I DO object to is this whole "I've done it, so it must be right" attitude. Or just trying to shove their opinion down your throat by constantly repeating the same tired response........ and then taking offence when you retaliate !

I'm not a keyboard warrior, I have opinions, and I will continue to have the same opinion when I meet you face to face.

I'll also probably buy you a beer whilst we have a chat :D

I too had noticed this confrontational aspect in posts escalating recently. Rein it in or we will.

Please respect other member's views/tastes, even if you think they are wrong. Variety is the spice of life, after all.

We foster a friendly atmosphere on here and that is what people appreciate. Time and again, I have had positive comments about the adult behaviour and friendliness here.

I work to the maxim, 'Never post anything you would not be prepared to say in person to their face.'

However laid back we, da management, try to be, please be under no illusions that we will not deal very firmly with anyone who threatens the ethos of the forum, and that means anyone!

With me, if I have offended anyone it was intended.:p

Have you ever had a budgie in your jocks, their beaks are no laughing matter and quite frankly emu smugglers are about as believable as a 900 BHP VVC.....

Look forward to it Craig. However, the only video I really would have liked to see was the one when you spun it on the way to the shops. :P Good job you'd done some track work beforehand or it could have turned out nasty.

Just shows how difficult it is to please everyone.

We all know forums that have the reputation of ruling with a big stick, banning people, etc. Or other sites that are free and easy. Its a very difficult line that the mods and administrators have to follow. Ban everyone or let everyone have their say, even if it upsets some.

I think this is a great site, lots of hands on, knowledgeable members and the majority happy to help out with any queries or problems.

Trouble is you can have a thousand members and how many post??? With out the posts the forum dies, doesnt matter how many read the threads, its the replies that count.

That what makes this one of the most lively and informative sites, always new posts to read and replies to the older posts.

I agree with the OP sentiments, and if you dont like the way some posts are going, you dont have to reply or answer.

Keep up the good work admin guys, we are behind you, well I am.

mmmmmm I dont like the word "criticism" i dislike it that much I had to spellcheck it :-?

I think of it more as feedback or is that just the way my world goes round?

I would hate to see this forum going down the road that someone puts a photos of their car on and either no one comments because we have taken the stance if you cant say something nice dont say anything, are too frightened to say anything cos we are going to get our wrists slapped, or everyone says oh thats lovely, when that isnt really what they are thinking....

I am already preparing myself that my project car will be a marmite car, either loved or hated and Im prepared to take the good comments with the bad, at the end of the day its my car and it will be what i want. And Im a big enough girl to take it on the chin without spitting my dummy out.

Anyway just my thoughts on the matter for what its worth

He is too. I just turned around and he is looking into my window!

There is no problem with disagreeing. the point is how it is done. We should all know, as adults, how to disagree without being offensive, or deliberately provocative.

There is a world of difference between 'That's crap, I hate it!
and 'I can see a lot of hard work has gone into that, personally I would have used a different xyz, but it's your car, so your choice.:broon:'
