Check the petrol cap is on the right way around.
Check the seal on the top of the tank where the fuel pump sits. Passenger side behind your new hoops!.:yesnod:

Yep, there's an arrow on the black bit:should be at the top. Also check the state of the fuel cap seal.

...or you may have drilled a hole in your fuel tank when fitting your hoops...... :slapme:

(....someone had to say it!)
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

The tank is plastic so maybe tiny hole or it may be over fuelling and the hoops causes it :)

Agreed. Changes the wind resistance fitting hoops causing tank rattle and false sense security resulting in over-inflation!

you say in jest, but i heard of a guy that took his motorbike in to the garage once, as it had just died on him, refused to do anything......

it took ages to diagnose it, and it was only when the garage asked if he had carried out any work on it that they found the issue.......

all he had done, was put a new number plate on, which took him 3 attempts to get the holes in the right place. the only issue, was that the ECU was right behind the number plate, and he'd drilled three holes straight though it :slapme: :slapme:

The most common sources of fuel leak are the petrol cap, the filler neck and the quick release couplings beside the fuel filter.
