MoT until mid Dec so time to sort it. He is asking £1000 and no come back, Its a neighbour of someone I know through the MGCC.. The person who told me said its all good mechanically with the brakes done this year and 4 new tyres, but he also said there was only a tiny bit of corrosion on one wing.
Its probably more than I want to pay for a car that may be a lot of work and will never win best in show, but it would be nice to save it and wth the AP brakes it would break for about this. I can insure it for less than £200 as well.
Its near High Wycombe if someone else cant wait to get it

you would have wanted to change the exhaust anyway so that can be discounted,

bit of grot here and there, not so big a deal don't need doing all at once, concentrate on what you do have, I like it.....

I havent heard it running or driven it, it has been used on hillclimbs so may be bit tired mechanically. The cost of bringing it up to nice standard may kill it. Also inmy experience once a car gets like this its a constant chore to keep the tinworm at bay. Wheel arch liners off and mud cleared out may help of course. If someone else really fancies it let me know, maybe it should go in cars for sale.
