You'll need to take the handle unit off the door, to refit it, or to glue it successfully.
As I say, if the clip is broken I am happy to send you the clip off this one.





edit -The problem with glueing is that the plastic clip needs to be able to rotate in the hole of the door lever in its operation.

do the clips just clip on then and pull off? Will that secure the cable in place?

The plastic clip is (should be) a tight fit into the lever hole. The plug needs to be pushed into the hole before the cable end is put into the clip.

Once you put the cable end in, you turn the clip around and the cable pushes into it.

I'll try and take a close up photo of this one to show you how it works, hang on.

Hi David

I just wanted to let you know that I haven't received the lug yet? I didn't want you thinking I was being rude as not to say thank you on receipt. May be it will come today. I received motor from the guys you recommended, it arrived yesterday and garage are swapping them tomorrow. Have a good weekend!!
