Spent some time today making this.. The first of a pair..
Why? One is to protect the edge of the seat bolster from wear.. As people get in/out.. And two... In a vague attempt to add a little stiffness to the rear bulkhead..
The car will get 8x plates welded in at key points.. And the bar work will get 8 feet welded on.. SO eventfully this frame will bolt in/out with 12 bolts.. On the front bulk head.. Along the floor and on two places behind the seat..
The tube is 3.4mm wall thickness CDS and the flat bar 6mm.. The long section along the floor constructed as an 'I'' section for strength..
It's in zinc primer at moment but once it's had the feet added it will be sprayed silver..
