Yes it is true, the story goes that Cameron has been waiting that long so that the effects needed to do the film justice were developed enough!

I found Titantic a remarkable piece of filming, I know its prolly not very 'cool' for a guy to say that, but I truly thought that Titantic was a benchmark in cinema
