If the response follows the pattern I've observed, B+G will be told that this has never happened before, and the system works perfectly on the test car!
Get B+G to pass your complaint to Suplex directly. I don't doubt that the problem with the canisters is weak springs, I understand that they have experienced problems with stiffer springs fracturing during use.
The bush walking can be solved by reducing the inner sleeve by 4mm.

As to the secondary spring, my opinion is that it is there to keep the slipper joint/knuckle from coming out of the upper arm under full extension.
I wondered about putting them back in.
I hope you get a successful outcome to your problem. If you end up trying the all rear canister set up, I will talk you through my modification, as long as you don't pass it on to Suplex!

Honestly, if I could go back to March, I would go the TF subframe swap route.:yesnod:

For what it's worth E-Carparts will sell you a complete set of Brand New standard MGF Hydragas spheres
for slightly less than the cost of the Suplex lumps. That should put off the inevitable for at least a few years. :broon:

I find it very damning that Suplex have not replied to you regarding these very serious problems with their MGF sphere replacement kits.

This has now been going on for months without resolution and the way Suplex are treating customers is disgusting. I for one would not even consider using their system if this is the back up you can expect, especially after spending several hundred pounds. :bang:

After reading Davids experience with the Suplex kit, I'm glad I replaced the displacers with displacers. I had considered the Suplex kit until Ian at the MGOC workshop suggested different. Hope you get some answers soon David

I agree with you partial. It's important for the hydragas spring setup only. Under full extension there's no problem with the static total length.
But with quick movements of the upper arm due to pot holes in the road the diaphragma setup may be to slow to let the alloy cone with diaphragma follw this fast movements.
IMO there's no need to hold down the joints with a coil spring setup cause the spring must be long enough to fill the gap of full extension.
If not, reject the kit.

The only update is not much of an update. No further contact from Suplex. gave up on them, tbh.

The front canisters have settled lower with time and use, and I need to adjust them back up to 350mm. If it stops raining any time soon.

I think I'm going to invest in 4 displacers and put them in a very safe place then.

EDIT: or wait for Daryl's kit.

A little bit of information.

I have been contacted by Marco from Italy. He purchased a Suplex kit a couple of months ago. :nonod:

He is suffering from knocking noises from the front units. Now does that sound familiar to you? :pinch:

I have advised him to get back to the company, asap.

No, :nonod: I persuaded him not to buy the system!

This poor lad only found the forum after he started having the clonking noises and he searched the net. Interestingly, he also purchased from Ecar parts on ebay.
