Brilliant, so now I know I can paint it, I just need some clear stuff :yesnod:

Sorry Mandy should have said, I do not want the usual gap between the spoiler and the body, so I was going to infill with this paint over to create a seamless finish ..

I will just get black, easier to paint over than white I think !

Just check Jan before you use it that it is deffo suitable for over painting..

Silicone for example is not..

Invalid or non-existent item ID.Jan,
you are right with SIKAFLEX. Thats not Silcone or Acryl.
Would use Sikaflex 521 UV for this application. Sticks like tiger poo and can be painted even with 2K laquer
Often used in martime applicatios. Would check such shops in the UK or see

Black there, should be available in grey aswell.
Got that hint from Herbie the other day. We both glued the split instrument cowl back on with this stuff.

There are lots of different types of sikaflex so make sure you get the correct sort.

http://www.sika.com/ might help.

We sell some times, mostly those used in construction, but it might be worth ringing out local branch.
go to www.burdens.co.uk to locate your local branch.

Just remember, wear old clothes and latex gloves. That stuff sticks like P** to a onesie.
