Hi, I was asked this today by someone and could not find an answer.
I have the 2000 'V' Reg 1.8i mgf and wanted to know if this model came with passenger airbag, as standard.

I will have a look later, but I also have a MY2000 MGF 1.8MPi and it does not have a passenger airbag, so it must have been an option on our cars.

That's what I thought, as it does say anything about airbag, on the passenger side.

Is there a way of finding out for sure?

Having had a quick look around it appears that the passenger airbag was not commonly fitted to UK MGF and MG TFs. Every reference I have located to the passenger airbag is in reference to it being an optional extra.

If your car has a passenger airbag it will have the "SRS" logo embossed in the airbag blanking plate.
It should also have an airbag warning sticker on the end of the dash on the passenger side.
