Was out (topless) with Humphrey today and could hear a slight dragging noise underneath...didn't concern me too much...then I was at some lights and this kid shouted out 'Hey mister ave you run over an elephant?!'.......Now you and me know very well that if you run over an elephant in an F then generally you would know it....

I turned the corner and stopped to find that my longer K&N air intake pipe had come away from it's fastener beneath and was sticking out from the rear like a great wobbling demented elephants trunk! I really must get a better enclosed system for my filter! So no elephant - which was a relief as I had no recollection of running over one.....anyway it was soon fixed (having a waterproof sheet and old coat in the boot to protect me- essential if you drive an MG).
