Hello all, I have just joined and need some help, my current project is a Mk1 MGF VVC that we have owned for a couple of years now; she has been laid up for a while and it is time to get her back on the road, with a few choice modifications added. I recently saw this MGF on ebay (see link) and am desperate to try and find out where I can get the same front bumper from. To me it is very reminiscent of MGBs with rubber bumpers in its shape but great looking. I conatcted owner but he couldnt identify where kit came from, I checked Mike Satur's website anf G&B but cannot see it. Please do help, I think it could look great and really quite unique if done properly with the correct package on the rest of the car....... I only want front bumper, not whole body kit....

I must admit I haven't seen that front before, and it could be a one-off.
Jon(rough luck) may have a better idea.

OK, thanks for the reply. Hopefully I'll get some good news soon! I am also going to have a full interior retrim and was going to get the dash covered in alcantara, do you know of any mobile retrimmers who can do home visits, car is of road and I am trying to complete work concurently.... or do I try and do it myself... hmmmmm....

To be honest the back end is Motobuild, its the one they copied from Mike Satur, but its an early one hence having exhaust dips in it on the bottom

So you may find the rest had been done by Motobuild as well

Either that or the side skirts look like the same style that Gerry's old car "Golden Wheels" had so may be the same maker

I have seen that front end recently but can't remember for the life of me WHERE

Have you tried motobuild?? they may well be able to tell you if it was one of theirs!!

Rubber bumpers on my avitar

The link in the first post takes me to an ebay listing for a yellow trophy F being sold by someone with 1 feedback... The photos don't look like it has any bodykit to me, in fact there arn't any clear shots of the front or back!

Am I missing something here?

The ebay item was changed mid auction, I attached the photos later on, here they are again; any ideas?
