well, we are all aware of St Russell but I have recently used the services of a similar set up;

Thanks for that, his advert popped up on my facebook the otherday but I'd never heard of him before even though he is only 15 miles away.

With Russell being so busy, it's good to hear of another recommended mobile mechanic!

thats actually the main reason I used him tbh, my head was screaming ring russell, my guts said give this bloke a try, he has a slick web page and is reasonably priced. his van is ex RAC and has the integral towing dolly above all the service was 2nd to none.

obviously if things go wrong and his after service stinks then I can feedback on that also, but so far so good.

It would be good to keep us up on how things go!

Mike does look good, his prices are very close to Russell's , it is also good to have someone else to rely on that is efficent and keenly priced ~ thank you foe his name

I have to say, i have used russel from mg rover solutions ,and hes service was disgusting .
he came to replace a head gasket, said that it was a radiator.
replaced the rad. all done.
well thats what i thought, untill i got home and the fan was on which seemed strange as it is winter . checked the rad and it was stone cold.
Rang up russel to tell him there was a air block in the system, he eventully and reluctantly came out to look at it .
He said that the new rad had a blockage . he would come back another day. he never did ,had to get someone else to look at it .
it had to be emptied and refilled again" without any air this time" .
hand if that was'nt enough the head gasket does need replacing.
I cannot recomment russel at all, workmanship or customer care.
