I stumbled on this "slightly" overpriced gem while I was looking for the car of the week.

It is not far off what I paid for my 2004 TF160 in 2006. :ohmy:

A private plate is only worth something if it is relevant to the owner or the car. That is neither, for most people, so is worthless.

If they tried using that as a selling point for me I would just tell them to take it off and keep it if it is that valuable.

I always disliked private plates...until I bought mine...but it's personal to the car...not me, saying that I've just bought another...you'll see it soon enough!

Both Beryl and Tigger have private plates on.. Beryl's is R88 EXY and Tiggers is K77 SWM.. Beryl's is supposed to read 'reet sexy', in a 'northern accent (I think) and Tiggers is the previous owners intials... Mean nothing to me at all. In fact I am thinking of putting new plates on Tigger at some point.
