Hi All
car is going to have the emerald fitted tomorrow but the garage dont have the pin outs for the 2 MEMS3 connectors...
does anyone have a list of all the pins on a MEMS3 ECU?

Emerald should be able to help. They have the pinouts for most ECUs.

I've got the standard install notes and wiring instructions for Mems 2

Also all the install set-up notes and base maps

O yeah I have the config file you would need to tell the emerald what car it is

if it will help??

Annoyingly they dont have any info on the Mk2 MGF with MEMS3
said they should have the wiring info for other rovers with MEMS3 if that helps...

car is a 1.8i K series, MGF MY2000 MK2, MEMS3 ECU, non-VVC, ported and polished head, piper 633 cams and vernier pulleys, i have an emerald map from dave andrews for this setup already, but need to make up a new loom plug (well the garage do whilst its in)... car is in there today, and they need to do the work this morning so really hoping emerald have something!

The connectors on the existing wiring loom match the socket that the emerald has, so its just a matter of taking the wires out of the existing ecu sockets by use of a thick needle an putting them in the right position on the emerald socket

Like I say I can send you the mems2, at least it shows the wire colours and functions on the mems unit, it may be of help, but by the sound of it thats what emerald have sent you

They're in the downloadable workshop manual in Clive's thread.

tried to post the wiring but files are too big sorry

sadly those ones in the manual are not accurate for my car...

my MK2 MGF non-VVC with MEMS3 unit doesnt tally with any of those...
Emerald finally replied to my message but sadly too late to have the emerald fitted today.

If anyone else ever has this issue let me know as i now have the info!
