indeed it was the main observation of us all at MG Fest back in july (was it?) and evan before that, simpler the better i reckon, would have me back visiting every day if the format was simlar to above, back when the t bar (general chat) and F/TF tech section was busy and the traffic was good (before the site got too big imo) i was on a few times a day 
im sure Clive and Chris agree with me among others
can't wait to get back to the good old "alternative" F/TF community!
