Shall I contact them as 'PR Person' and ask about group buys for the forum?

Any news on this, Adam?

Had a mare of a week and not had a chance - in-laws family home in Kedah, Malaysia has bad flooding thanks to Thailand's 'dam incident' and we are a bit preoccupied in calling to make sure everyone is OK!

If this is serious, can we have it as a seperate thread? Makes it easier to find.

I knew we could, what I meant is if it was OK with the Plasma dials OP.

They do look good though.

Oh I understand now. Hang on I'll ask Adam.

There are different types of illumination as well as this 'hybrid' style.

I think, because you still won't have illuminated needles, this style may be the most effective.

Re: Plasma Dials 13 years 5 months ago #17998

OOOooo I still like these, and the old dials still have a small back light on the speedo dial side.... so it wouldn't be to hard to rip apart a needle for its fitting an make another needle off a car that lights up .....you could also add another bulb for the rev counter side....change both bulbs to red an hey presto red lite up needles

PS mine now redlines at 8,000 on one map anyway...lolol

Interesting on the needles Jon. i feel the need to get a set of dials and operate on them.

I think the no reline option is a winner.

redline wants to be at 2,000rpm that way you'll think your hammering it everywhere :)

Needs to be a bit higher than that or it'll feel like you're driving a diesel :)

Good idea, Adam. Plus no redline idea of Clive's is a winner IMO.

Adam, what do your dials look like unilluminated, or are they always on with the ignition?

They are white with blue/red markings - I'll get a shot sorted.
