Up and out the house at 6.00am going to a club event 2 and a bit hours away. Slight drizell, nothing to worry about put roof down, started car shut drivers door, interior lights come on. Nothing to worry about, outside temp about 5C, heater working fine, drizel stopped, interior lights still on, travelled 15km, pulled away from traffic lights NO Speedo a minute later NO power steering. Thought bugger this, turned round and went home. Parked car, interior lights still on........................

Oh dear... sorry to hear that hun...any ideas what it could be?

The Speedo/power steer is the cable one of them has snapped nothing major just annoying. The interior lights have been an ongoing problem for years. For no reason,doors shut driving along they come on, stop the car, get out stay on, after a while reopen doors then shut, ten minutes later they go off. The next time they come on could be 6 months later, I have not had interior lights that work with the opening and closing of the doors for years, just put it down to a quirk of my F!

Mmm, sounds like the switch in the door lock.

Yep the rear speedo cable broken, second time, the last five years ago. Just having to wait whilst we source one.

Found one second hand, fitted on Friday. Had F out for a longish drive today, great to be able to turn the steering wheel............
