Just some advice please.... I need 2 new tyres for my Mk2 F

Currently I have Pirrelli P Zero Nero all round, but the rears have worn and I was thinking of replacing with the recomended Toyo Proxy T1-R's

There is plenty left on the fronts and my cash position isn't great so I don't want to replace them all.

Is this a reasonable configuration?

For an extra £20 each i can get replacement Zero Nero's which seem fine to me

From my perspective, it's better to have all 4 tyres the same. But I know the Pirellis are not cheap tyres.

Toyos are very good tyres, but I don't know of anyone who has experience of Pirelli and Toyos on the car. The combination will probably be OK, but you'll be the 'test pilot' as it were.

as long as the front 2 and back 2 arn't miss matched i don't think you have to worry

I'd put good tyres on the back and wait till you can save up for some for the front
