Just a republishing of Kara's post about generic avatars.
Everyone can now have an avatar.
Forum friends get to use anything - within reason, but even if you're not a paid-up friend you can have a generic avatar.
You can access the list of generic avatars via your UserCP under the 'Control Panel' button & the choice of avatars is as follows:
Everyone can also have a profile picture which sits alongside their name in the 'Members List'
Her's how:-
Click on usercp under the 'Control panel' button:
Click on edit profile picture:
You should see the following screen so just follow the instructions:
