What's the current time for automatic logging off? I find it is way too short compared to other forums. Really annoying when flitting back and forth and finding you are 'off'.

Also is there a shortcut for posts in the last 24hrs other than new posts? Related to above question.

Ta very muchly.

As far as I know there is no auto log off. I know I'm always signed in when I bring up the site, and stay logged in regardless of how long I'm on the site, but it may be different for admin/mods.:dunno: Could it be a setting on your browser?

Really, Kara is the one to field this, as she will know if there is a difference. Should be back in a few days.

If you are logged off, you get posts in last 24 hrs, but this automatically changes to new posts when you log in.
You can scroll down to the bottom of the site to the stats - the latest threads/posts are there. We are wondering if the stats should be moved up the page? :bye:

I have been using the info at the bottom of the page. I'll check my settings to see if there is something there. I must be the only one, if not then others would have mentioned it I'm sure.

you're not the only one Stamford, I noticed this last night, I was getting logged off every 30 minutes or so when I navigate away from the site. I'm certain it's not a browser setting as any other website remembers me.

If you don't tick the 'Remember Me' box or if you clear your cookies then you will have to log back in.

I was going to mention the remember me box.

I leave mine on all day sometimes, also put the computer into sleap, switch off computer etc and I am always logged on when I go to the site.

In that case I would suspect your computer. For some reason it is losing the cookies. Have you got delete cookies on logoff selected, or set up not to save cookies?
