It mounts with screws into the door panel. Both screws can be seen in the picture VinceR attached.
They also have 5 screw holes evenly spaced along the lower lip

3d print files, huge new topic, does anyone have any thoughts about where to save all these bright new ideas, I've seen a few bits saved on www.thingiverse.com for MGF and MGTF in sperate tabs.
thingverse.com would be the place that I would save the files. I designed a replacement rudder block for my 30+ yr old kayak and put the design on thingverse to share it with others Current Designs rudder block by Mowog73 - Thingiverse

I’m most taken by all this CAD stuff, whether that be 3D printing, laser cutting or wire erosion.
I too made my own seat belt guides but as these disciplines were almost exclusive to progressive industry, at the time, I hacked mine out of aluminium in my machine shop. Standing up at my lathe / mill in a drafty building is now an historic approach, sat at a keyboard in a warm office must be the way to go.
Yes I could re-equip & teach myself these black arts but who would finish all my old fashioned projects. Like the cars etc.

I happen to have these wire loops handy but was thinking of just using some beading nylon (like fishing line).
