Since moving off the wards and into management last year I'm forced to endure endless meetings, intractable problems and relentless paperwork in my quest to smooth the patients journey in my role as East Lothian discharge coordinator ....
... one of the more onerous burdens is having to visit different hospital sites regularly ...
