Despite the weather predictions of the end of the world, 8 intrepid explorers decided to head on over to The Lake District to conquer the Wrynose Pass on Saturday, without the help of guides or sherpas.
It was a long, gruelling run up the south face and we stopped for a short break at base camp (called The Woolpack at Boot), where we took on refreshments for the rest of the journey.
We then pushed on to our final destination at Whitehaven where we celebrated and set up camp for the night at the local Premier Inn.
Today we headed back along Honister Pass, up over Hartside and ended up at Brockbush Farm for cakes.
Didn't get many photos yesterday, due to the weather, but took a few today when the sun came out.
Thanks to everyone who came along. It was a great laugh.
