Following the greek mythological theme my MGB project car can only be Persephone as she has been hidden away undercover for years, rarely seeing daylight.
The black TF is always Gynevieve though.

So in the years since I posted the above things have moved on slightly. When I started acquiring multiple cars they would get known as "the blue one", "the red one", "the yellow one" etc but in addition to the blue ZR and the red maestro we currently have 2 green MGFs and my daily is a black saloon but I have a ZS saloon in black and an Alfa 159 saloon in black............
My son now has the blue one.
The red one still remains to be revived (15 years and counting) and may be merged with the front half of the yellow one, maybe.
I no longer have the middle or back of the yellow one.
The green one is now "the original green one"
The other (acquired after the original green one but that isn't why the original is called the original) green one has long since been scraped.
The black ZS saloon has been sold, and sold, and scrapped.
The black Alfa 159 killed its engine so was sold.
And replaced with an almost identical black Alfa 159 (boot lip spoiler and different colour wheels are the only differences).
Finally, a year ago i bought a jap import mk1 VVC BRG MGF in virtually standard form so the same models the original one.
So this is when the original one gained her name, because she has been heavely modified with virtually everything changed, even TF subframes while the new green one is slowly becoming completly original changing back the few things that had been changed..
