Tf sports exhaust
Been looking for one since I bought the car as the standard exhaust lacks that sports car noise
Just curious to see what's floating about on the second hand market

Saw a post by him last week I think about a couple of good condition 2nd hand boxes. The TTs have a rep as being pretty loud & sport sounding.

Avoid TOYOSPORTS, maybe cheap, but not very well made, don't fit very well without some adjustment and the welds fail.
Look at Pauls evaluation too.

Must strongly disagree with you about the Toyosports exhaust.
Don't avoid the Toyosports it is a very good choice, sounds good and won't break the bank. Some of the exhausts on offer cost half as much as the average F!
As you mentioned at the end "Look at Pauls evaluation too" where you will find lots of Toyosports owners saying how satisfied they are with their exhausts. Toyosport has sold hundreds more exhausts than the others and I have actually only see one persons first hand report on a broken hanger. What I do see is a lot of people who have never owned a Toyosports repeating the same one thing over and over again.
Having spoken with plenty of Toyosports owners I have not met any who regretted buying one.
The Toyosports I fitted and swapped on and off to try others, which I then sold, is going strong and sounds even better with age. Quality wise it is a well made bit of kit using thicker sheet metal than some of the exhausts I have tried.
In the end you pay your money and you make your own choice.

In fact I know 4 people who had 7's and sold them to swap to Daytona's.. or Milteks..
One owner actually saw power go up (RR proof) when the 7 came off and the Daytona went on..
Well made? Seen 3 rusty 7's now... Sure might be stainless but what grade?
Another member on here was going to sell his newly fitted 7 due to the motorway drone..
Only real way to do this is go in a car with the exhaust fitted.. whats it sound like in the car? around town? Motorway speed?
Still say best 'off the shelf' exhaust is the Daytona

Also been in touch with a few sellers off ebay who are advertising stainless sports backboxes but out of 4 sellers only one said it gives a much sportier sound the others just said they are bought it and do not know the noise or sound level and have no fitting facilitys to test one.
Ive emailed the seller who stated that it gives a sportier tone to see if they have any videos of this exhaust fitted to a tf so just waiting for a response noe

As for the Daytona being the best off the shelf exhaust ....? A very good exhaust but it too has its drawbacks, the sound produced is not to everyones taste, but the main drawback is the cost. With nice finishers you're looking at £420+
