I got that box at a web site  that I mentioned where you saw that pic. Don’t know why I can’t reach that page.

I`ve just bought a spare blank for £13 , so I`m going to have a go at making my own .

The first iteration of this idea used a cubby of a Rover 25 (iirc) & that goes back some way. I have dual airbags & so this is of little practical interest other than passing. It is however an interesting project; any project is interesting if there is a practical outcome.

As far as I recall it wasn’t but not that far off. It was covered on here, by whole & just when I don’t recall, a search 👀 should turn up the article.
I’d have a look myself, however I’ve taken the log burner out & am in no fit state to spend time looking back. I usually end up finding an article I wrote years back & am overcome with embarrassment.
