Quite rare low milage 1.6 model only 362 on Swansea's books last year. In Trophy blue. 67,000 miles Pictures to follow.

Just completed the following work for it's MOT.

Two new old stock Rover front hubs with factory fitted wheel bearings and ball joints. £160



Two new old stock Rover rear hubs with factory fitted wheel bearings and ball joints. £240


Four new brake calipers and Mintex pads.
Four new Mintex discs.
Two rear new old stock LE 500 softer shock absorbers and springs.
Front subframe cleaned and rust protected.
Previous owner spent a lot on the engine inc Head Gasket.

Rare hardtop fitted.
Decent soft top with new glass rear screen.
Head gasked replaced with modified gasket.
Some age related marks to paintwork but rust free.

Only two previous owners, bought the car in November last year but selling very reluctantly as my girlfriend will not ride in a convertible.
I just need the price I have paid for a replacement car hence low price.
Taxed so can be driven away.

I had a girl friend who wouldn't ride in a convertible because she thought it was dangerous, the same silly cow would happily get on the pillion seat of a motorcycle ????????

hi, too clostrophobic with the roof on, too bright with the roof off, oh and it's too low.

Don't sell her you will regret it.

She can't possibly complain about that,,, on the other hand there is bound to be something.

Shame you are having to sell, suprised by your girlfriend, my wife asks to put the top down (no, the cars top) sooner than I would.

A couple of things with the ad

1) I wouldn't associate the work with the MOT, sounds like it only just scrapped through, I would list the work and then at the bottom just state "MOT until xx/x/2016"

2) Since October tax doesn't transfer with the vehicle, any outstanding is refunded to the seller when DVLA get the MOT.

3) A lot of people wont understand what you mean when you talk of the "lads" at Swansea, DVLA would be better.

4) The line about the Puma reads as if you are hinting that you might swap for a Puma, I would reword it.

Finally don't post the ad until you can include pictures, I have the ebay app on my windows phone so can take phone photos as I am creating the ad.

Hi thanks, have made a couple of changes.
I mentioned the tax as the buyer should be able to drive it away and I'll cancel the tax next day.
