Hello, I'm Sander from the Netherlands.

I have a 1997 MGF MPi which I converted to VVC and added the DVA Power K06a kit in 2007. This kit worked a little too well and it made a whopping 164 wheel bhp (on stock MPi pistons). That is 60 wheel bhp more than stock which was 104.
Believe me it was fun to drive with about 190 engine bhp.

In 2008 the engine "blew" because of porosity in the head casting. Currently I'm back to MPi and I'm sourcing parts for the VVC engine rebuild. I still need a block + uprated pistons.

As you might guess my F is heavily modified, but in a technical way. Some parts:
- ULW wheel
- AP brakes
- Mintex 1144 all round
- full powerflex PU kit
- Solid subrame mounts
- Lowering knuckles
- TF engine braces
- full TF gearshift
- full stainless exhaust
- Twister XL filter
- PRT thermostat
- LWL warning kit
- TF bootlid
- Trophy front
- Full TF black leather Trophy style colorcoded interior
- ....

Very nice looking car.
I want to get more power out of mine eventually after concentrating on the looks more than anything these last few months. Its a VVC, got the 52mm tb fitted & Viper induction kit, may try to fit the exhaust this weekend if my back holds out.

May have a go at stiffening it up with the braces too when I find out whats involved.
