Well hello from me....
I've be lurking around these parts since I picked up my first "modern" MG which I wasn't really looking for but for £100 I just couldn't say no  .
It a Mk1 MPI with 80k on and has been standing for a couple of years. From what I can find out it appears to have been a summer car for the last few years it was on the road but being in Scotland that means little! It's not the best you'll find with a poorly replaced rear wing and a few bumps a scrapes but after few hours checking things over an MOT was kindly issued (at the second attempt because I forgot the fit a wheel nut after breaking the lock nut off  and a loose brake light switch. That's defo a job for a much younger man :bang:) .
And would you just know it but no sooner had I picked it up I got a bit trigger happy on the bay of e and now have a second one! A mk1 VVC in Nightfire Red with only 36k miles under it's tyres! It's been standing ten years and is in remarkable condition even if it may have a HGF!
I usually reside on the the MGBBS where I try to contribute with words of encouragement and assistance and I hope to do likewise here but I think it might be one way traffic for a while!
As an owner of an old 1968 MG1300 (amongst many other MG's!) I've procured a Dalek pump and can be contacted by anyone needing a pump up in East Central Scotland...
Anyway that's me for now and I look forward to being part of the "young crowd" for a bit :yesnod:

James,
At last count 3 x B's, 4 x BGT's (one a factory V8) a 1958 ZB Veritone, the 1300 and now two F's! All in various states of dis-repair waiting for me to retire!

Who said I'm an addict :slapme:
