Bonjour a tous, I'm Mike, semi-retired in Charente Maritime, SW France and one summer in with my sixth MG - an '02 TF (sadly there was a 25 year gap between numbers 5 and 6 - blame work, marriage and an obsession with motorcycles!).
We're very fortunate to be able to have a Summer-only car in a permanently hood-down climate and with an active MG group nearby - we've already been on several runs and been part of displays at local events.
Our car came from a family we know, one owner, FSH, minimal mileage, always garaged and totally rust free - at a ludicrously low price thanks to the current UK market. Bought in England and then easily re-registered here in France it's value doubled overnight - TFs and Fs are rare and sought after here.
The TF is part of an eclectic collection of vehicles - a diesel Picasso for shopping and motorways; a Suzuki 4x4 for hauling the trailer full of logs up from the river and a 22-year-old almost as-new, classic Hymer/Fiat Camping Car (motorhome). Each has a purpose and has so far avoided the planned thinning out!
We run a holiday 'Gite' just for couples -

- and are always pleased to welcome any MG owners.
