Hi all,

Following on from the topic "Hello from a new member living in France". We went back to the UK on 4th November to pick up the MG as planned. Arrived to a completely flat battery. Nevertheless got it going the next day and later took it to British Legends Southend for a once over: no problems apart from a dead passenger door window regulator.

Returned to France on 11th November. The MG did the 550 miles non-stop (apart from re-fuelling and eurotunnel) without a hitch. The defective electric passenger window was a bit of a problem at the tolls: the navigator having to get out every time.

Fitted and new regulator yesterday: supplied in 2 days by T Devlin Co. Antrim. Great service.

Out and about today with the top down: sunny but only about 42F degrees. Here are a couple of photos.

XO

Considering the weather forecast I'd say so! Snow and ice on the way...

Regrettably 0 miles. Two excuses: firstly it rained most of the journey, secondly, the car was jammed packed with shopping. The area where the top folds down was packed with clothes and other items so we couldn't fold the top down even if we wanted.

Let us know your proposed route and when. Will you be coming to the Charente region?

No! if you are going on a shopping trip. Safe trip there and presumably back.
