from northumberland, have "inherited" and MGF from my ex girlfriend, I bought the car for her for her birthday last year, quite a nice looking example too, (the car not the .........best not go there) anyway, its now an MOT failure so i have to buy it back of her..!!!! its now in my garage and have just changed the bottom shocker bushes last weekend, next is wheel bearing and headlamp and then she should be good to go, not quite sure what to do with her yet, keep her or sell her. I quite like the little car. I drive a merc 320 clk and a vespa 90 smallframe so have a few toys. May keep her for the summer, joined the forum as i love the "how toos" section, and when googling stuff answers seem to lie here, have been on the mgf regsiter forum too. I do like messing about mechanically but dont want to get too involved with the big stuff so that kinda puts me off the MG a bit, but it is a fun car and is slowly winning me over.

Welcome to the forum - you seem already knowledgable. The forum is great for any help...me i just put petrol in Humphrey, watch waterlevel, dip/check oil and all the basics n i ave had Humphrey for a good num of years now - he scrubs up ok n generally behaves and is great fun!!
