Thought it would be time to get the Border Patrollers motivated for the start to another fantastic year.

So, the first official run will be on Saturday 10th March 2012, Starting in Durham around 10.00am and driving the following route.

http://g.co/maps/59qtk

This will be dependant on weather (still not clear of the snowy season) and is a shortish route to break us in gently.

If any locals (Mindy ;) ) would like to comment on the route if they see any problems that would be helpful.

Thinking of stopping here for a bite to eat. Will phone later to confirm.

http://www.fatlamb.co.uk/

Let me know if you fancy this and your thoughts on the route.

Oh yes :woohoo:

Put Me and Saul down Clive and if anyone wants to go to the start in a mini convoy how about North Manchester way or from Benny's at the Boundary Mill like the Crackpot run?

Another alternative for the meal would be the Tan Hill Inn. Highest pub in England,

Bring a tent?

I have phoned The Fat Lamb and they can squeeze us in, was getting a bit worried about the numbers as we are now looking at 20 - 30 people. 12 cars definate and 6 maybes.

I have asked for a menu so we can see what is on offer.

One near me! woot!

After the farce of getting 2 miles down the road to go the FRL only for my expansion bottle to balloon and split I should have more luck with this one!
