nice clown loach, used to have a big tank myself a few years back, got scared so gave it all up. I had a 30x24x18in break in the flat OMG what a mess, so after that I decided that my 6ft one had to go, i also found myself spending fortunes on very fancy catfish,

looks like you have a nice set up there

Thanks, That's my 4 foot tank.
I love Clown loaches... and loaches/botias in general. If fish have personalities, these nutters do!
I'm hoping for my inspiration to post her photo...Maggy?

I haven't a clue what it is,  .......but I can tell you that St Andrews Sea life centre is well worth a visit.

Carol used to be very much into her tropical fish like yourselves ... but sadly gave up as they were taking over her life ... ( as I'm sure you understand. ;) )

Anyhoo, I've enjoyed this thread and thanks for your pics guys ... the fish and their habitats look uber cool. :broon: :broon:

That my friend is Pterois Volitans

Usually known as the Lion fish. Poisonous spines along the dorsal fin.

Very common on tropical reefs. Ambush predators.
