Had a bit of a misfire issue so fitted new plugs and a full service

then got my number plate on

also got tired of the quiet exhaust

spent ages grinding the old one off and replaced with a daytona, lots of nice noise :woohoo:

started to add some colour to the quite dreary interior

then had some nasty issues with stalling, cleaned out the IACV to no avail then changed both o2 sensors which seems to have cured the problem

Then start of January had a disaster, after some cold weather the laquer started to flake off everywhere but on a plus side got my group buy trophy spoiler and splitter fitted

Shortly followed by another disaster, on the way home from work a deer ran into the road and collided with my front end, sending my car nose first into a hedge :(

whilst the car was broken, modified the headlights

started to put her back together

Had a play with plasti-dip paint but the matt white is very transparent and I didn't like it

So to this weekend have took the plunge and started on the rear of the car, I'll have to do it in stages as this is my only car and I need to stay mobile :(

no turning back now, dent fixing

my broken rear crash cans following bumper removel

And now the point where I will have a lot of haters but I have my reasons
I love the look of the matt black plasti-dipped TF on here so have decided on matt black for mine for three reasons
* The car needs a full respray due to the deer accident and laquer peel
* Its easy and cheap to do as I can't afford a full respray at the moment (may happen at a much later date)
* Most importantly I like it

So have put a light coat of paint on some bits but got beaten by light and temperature falling, will do some more tomorrow

Great photos, thanks for sharing. This is the first time I have seen an F in pieces, the photos really help to understand what you have gone through and what you have had to do.

There'll be plenty more to come as I continue, the hardest thing is though I'm dependant on the car so need it running on weekdays but it is keeping me focused on getting it done :P
