I’m trying to do a engine compression test on my 1998 VVC. To prevent pumping fuel during the test I want to remove the fuel pump relay. The relay is situated in the most awkward location to the right of the footwell fuse box behind the dash structure and I’m having difficulty removing this. It appears to be located by a base clip. Has anyone any advice as to how this can be removed or is the an alternative to isolating the pump? I've tried removing fuse 14 but with this out it will not crank.
