Data logging is now available. This is the only change from version 0420.

Note that at the moment version 0421 is only available on Windows and 64 bit Linux.
32 bit Linux and Mac OSX will be available in a few days.

Hi Phillip . The latest software wont load on Windows for some reason. This is the first time I have had a problem with any of the revisions to Pscan .

When you say that it "won't load" do you mean that you are still on 0420 and you are not being offered an upgrade?
or do you mean that you are on 0421 but 0421 doesn't work?
or do you mean something else?

Hi . Yes I am still on 0420 . The message on screen says Download failed.

I too am having problems.

I open pscan on my Windows 10 laptop.

It offers the option to upgrade from 420 to 421.

I click the upgrade button.

After a few moments it says "failed to download".

Then it says "unable to continue" and closes pscan.

Yes that's what I get TC .

I think that I know what the problem is.
If you are using the old pscanloader.exe from the original pscan.eu site then this happens.
I will have to figure out why.
In the mean time if you create a new folder ( recommended c:\pscan.uk ) and download the new pscanloader.exe from pscan.uk and put just pscanloader in the new folder then it will work.

I have made a bit more progress.
Say that you were using the old pscan.eu version of pscanloader.
When you run it, it will download version 0420 from the old pscan.eu server.
Version 0420 will then download the new pscanloader from pscan.uk and relaunches it.
Unfortunately version 0420 continues to run in memory (but not visible), I found it in task manager.
So, when the new pscanloader attempts to download version 0421 and save it, it can't because version 0420 is still running in memory.

The solution.
Either find pscanwinapp in the task manager and kill it
or
Restart the computer.

Then run pscanloader again.

This time it will successfully upgrade to 0421, and, as the old pscanloader is now gone you should not experience this again.
