Just got another MGF April 1996 only 34,000 miles, super condition, but now got the stuck bonnet problem, looks as though cable has either snapped or come loose and unfortunately it appears someone has fitted the later F/TF security panel , can anyone give me the 'how to' to flick the catch to open the bonnet ?

Can some one be lifting the bonnet as you try the lever?
