The head of the bolt is 17mm and I think the shank is M13. The top is turned down to 8mm to match the roll pin.

The problem with the home made tool is that the space to use the tool is extremely limited.

Ok thanks! As my car isnt at my house in winter., i cant check it. I have the new part thiugh and will try to make a tight fit tool...

The tool needs to be narrow enough to sit on the bell crank.
And the space around the bell crank is tight too.
