I agree that there is no need to force the door open or replace the locks-I found this out with my TF a couple of years ago .
I went down the route of removing the door card in Adam Elphics way then , making up a 12 volt patch lead to operate the superlocking micro switches which proved the theory that the SCU relays actually cause the whole Door Wont Unlock Issue.
