Hi guys,I had to renew the wishbones so dropped the subframe, now the srs light is on and the horns don't work , now been reading about someone else who had the same problem , damaged ribbon in the rotary coupler,anyone have a photo because i have no idea where the ribbon in the rotary coupler is

The rotary coupler is connected to the steering wheel....it allows electrical items such as the horn and air bag to be connected while the steering wheel is in rotation.

you could check the connections for srs under the seat first.

This would be a strange one as the steering has just been messed with and the horn is also not working.

Did you remove the steering column or just drop the UV joint at the bottom?

I'd start by checking the electrical plugs on the column.

If you still have the problem then remove the steering wheel airbag (2 x T30 screws in the back).
You'll be able to access the rotary coupler and swap it out.

There are 2 versions used, make sure you replace like with like.
