Hi, just come back from a London visit including a trip to beulieu motor museum.
Although not a fan of top gear their cars in the museum were interesting.
Here is Hammonds LIMO.

Just think how many gallons of water those sills hold...........and thoes underfloor pipes,you would have to use scaffold tube.........................anyhow john how are you getting on with the puma?

hi, thanks for asking, the puma got through its test wih just a little work to flexi pipes, handbrake and a tyre.
Brilliant car to drive, turns into corners biting in with tons of grip and heading exactly where you point it.
Ride is comfortable with just a little firmness on monroe shocks. no body roll at all
.It's a car that you want to drive at every opportunity and I miss it when I can't drive it.
The other drive, a 2003 Seat Leon which was a sporty drive now feels soft and wollowy in comparison.
Fuel economy is good with the 1.4 engine which is big enough for decent acceleration between the lights.
Can't wait to get back behind the wheel even if it's just to pop down the town, it's that sort of addictive drive.

glad to hear your getting on well with the puma.................Why didnt the top gear team make a better job with those panels?........take a look how neat these mx5 limos look
