Hydragas Pump alternative? 8 years 10 months ago #159843

How about using a Pressure Test Pump, such as Clarke PTP100 (from Machine Mart) for filling and topping-up suspension fluid on MGF's?
These cost £120 approx and are rated to 900psi
The pump's hose would need an adaptor to suit a low loss connector (as sold on Ebay for £30 that fit to the MGF's hydragas schrader valve).
For an outlay of £150 this new equipment may be a better buy than a secondhand "MG approved" brand pump..
Granted, this rig would not have a vacuum facility.
Thoughts?

Useful alternative idea but the liquid levers units with vacuum facility come up on eBay now and again for similar money.

I bought a Liquid Levers pump with Vaccuum facility for that sort of money, and £30 is very cheap for a proper low loss connector.

Andy, as you say they come up for that sort of money on Ebay from time to time.
